As if life is not difficult enough at the moment. On Friday at about 3 ish so just before the bank holiday I had an e mail with no contact telephone number from Best in Birmingham informing me that mod 4 scheduled for the end of this week had been cancelled and that they would be in contact early this week. I took a trip to Reading today (Tuesday) and established that they were in admininstration and also did a bunk on Friday of last week. I have been in contact with the folks at ABBE who said they would look into it and get back to us since they were a little in the dark ? Which I am a little suspicous of as Peter Thwaites the former head of training at Best college has left an alternative e mail address for candidate to contact him on which is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
The appointed adminstrators are SIMs of Wokingham and will have a contact number and person for them soon. I have also conducted a companies house search and have established the names of the directors which I will get confirmed by the administrators.

I am truly sorry that you are having to be placed in this situation, but regrettably, I too am in a similar situation, and have just been informed by the college that I no longer have a job with them.

I am, however, working on a method of completing all of the candidates training and qualification and will be back in touch very shortly.

Once I have determined how many candidates there are still awaiting completion of their training and at what stages they are at, I will be better able to develop a strategy for helping everyone to achieve their original goals.

Initially I am planning to put all of the training materials, etc. online with exercises etc, available and offering email and possible telephone support.
